Conference Program for International Symposium on Water and Land Resources in Central Asia out now

Deadline for registration is September 20, 2018!

 

The “Central Asia Water” (CAWa) project with colleagues from the Department of Remote Sensing at the University of Würzburg is organizing its final conference and is therefore kindly inviting you to participating into the International Symposium on Water and Land Resources in Central Asia. This conference aims to bring together the scientific community and decision-makers to discuss challenges on water and land resources in the region.

We are glad to announcing that for three days (October 09-11) international scientists and decision-makers will present and discuss their work ranging from scientific studies towards application. For the conference program, please see here.

As invited keynote speakers, Prof. Wilfried Haeberli and Prof. Viktor A. Dukhovny will talk about “Vanishing high-mountain ice – hydrological challenges at the global to locals scales” and “Water and land management in Central Asia – present situation and future perspectives”.

Registration for participation is still open until September 20. We are lokking forward to meeting you in Almaty, Kazakhstan!
