Ecological Informatics: An IntroductionOur chapter in the book “Ecological Informatics – Data Management and Knowledge Discovery” is finally published. The chapter “GIS-Based Data Synthesis and Visualization” lead by Duccio Rocchini deals with visualizing spatial uncertainty in species distribution based on cartograms, as well as fuzzy methods to synthesize species distribution uncertainty.
